Sunday Lunch – Sushi & Gomaae

In Sunday Lunch on February 7, 2010 at 5:01 am

My newly acquired recipe for sushi rice came through again.  Two times lucky makes it a keeper for me — I’ve had some very bad past experiences, you understand.  For today:

A Dynamite Roll with panko-breaded, oven-baked local prawns, cilantro, cucumber, green onion and ancho mayo.

A Spicy Scallop Roll with local scallops, cilantro, cayenne, sweet lime, mayo, chopped peanuts and panko-breaded, oven-baked delicata squash.

Spinach Gomaae — a traditional Japanese salad with sesame dressing.  I’m still working on the dressing recipe to make it blog-worthy, but as I have another pound of spinach in the fridge, I should have it to you soon.
